Google's own retail stores!

According to 9to5google, Google will open it's own stores in the major metropolitan areas for the holidays. Apple stores have proven that a store is more than just a place where you can buy your products but also to test those products,to learn about them,... Such a store is seen as a face for the company, a way to connect to their customers.

Google has made a lot hardware in the previous months and they feel that they have to give people the chance to try their products before buying. That's something that isn't possible now in the Google Play Store where you can buy Google's Nexus devices.

Google has a lot of Chrome Store-within-a-store models in hundreds of Best Buys in the U.S.
Employees in those stores don't have sale targets, they have to educate people about Google's products.

Google would  have made the decision to open retail stores after deciding to bring the Google Glass to the public. That futuristic product made by Google would cost $500 to $1,000 dollar.
People wouldn't spent that amount of money without even trying a product like this.

I think such a store would be amazing, I'd love to visit it and maybe even buy products there. I hope they're not only going to sell Google hardware but also Android hardware that isn't made by Google.
This would make such a store the perfect place to find everything Google has to offer!
